Southern Utah
Grind the stump out below grade and clean up after it.
The work
A cut stump is not a finished job. We grind it out below grade so you can replant, re-landscape or just have your yard back, then clean up the grindings instead of leaving a pile behind.
Grinding below grade, deep enough to plant or lay sod over
Surface root grinding where roots are lifting concrete or edging
Cleanup and haul off, or the chips left on site for mulch if you want them
Utility locate before we grind, because stumps sit next to irrigation and wire
Around here specifically
Mulberry, Siberian elm and cottonwood are the three that come back from a stump here, and they come back as a thicket of suckers that is harder to deal with than the original tree. Those three are worth grinding rather than leaving.
What we will tell you
Grinding leaves a volume of chips that surprises people. We will tell you up front roughly what the pile will look like and whether you want it gone or spread.
Questions we get
Below grade, deep enough that you can plant, lay sod or re-landscape over it. If you are replanting in the same spot, tell us and we will go deeper.
Your choice. We can haul them off or leave them on site for mulch. Grinding produces more volume than people expect, so we will tell you up front what the pile will look like.
Where we do it
Tell us what you are looking at. We will come out, take a look, and tell you what we would do and what it costs. No job is too big or too small, we do it all.
