Southern Utah
The right tree for the spot, planted so it lives.
The work
Most of the tree problems we get called out to started the day the tree went in the ground: wrong species for the elevation, planted too deep, or put somewhere it would outgrow in ten years. We help pick it, and we plant it properly.
Around here specifically
Our service area runs from 1,601 feet in Mesquite to 6,155 feet in Parowan. That is not a detail, it is the whole decision. A palm that thrives in St. George will not survive a Parowan winter, and the alkaline soil down here makes some popular species turn yellow from iron chlorosis no matter how well you water them.
What we will tell you
If the spot you have picked is going to put a large tree into a wall, a roof or a power line in fifteen years, we will suggest a different tree or a different spot before we plant anything.

Questions we get
It depends on your elevation more than anything else. Our service area runs from 1,601 feet in Mesquite to 6,155 feet in Parowan, so a species that thrives at one end fails at the other. Tell us where you are and what the spot looks like and we will narrow it down.
No, and anyone who sells you one is taking your money. Cedar City is USDA zone 6b with winter lows around five below zero. Palms are not hardy to that.
Where we do it
Tell us what you are looking at. We will come out, take a look, and tell you what we would do and what it costs. No job is too big or too small, we do it all.
