Seasonal and annual maintenance pruning, cut to standard.
The work
Good pruning is mostly about what you leave behind. We prune to the ANSI A300 standard and ISA guidelines, which is what the City of St. George's own tree guide tells homeowners to ask for. That means cuts at the branch collar, three cuts on anything heavy so the bark does not tear, and a clear reason for every branch that comes off.
Around here specifically
Desert sun punishes a tree that has been opened up too hard. Bark that spent twenty years shaded and suddenly sees a St. George July will sunscald, so we thin conservatively and leave the interior canopy that protects the limbs.
What we will tell you
We do not top trees, and we will not take a job that asks us to. If a tree needs to be smaller, crown reduction is the real technique and we will walk you through the difference.

Where we do it
Tell us what you are looking at. We will come out, take a look, and tell you what we would do and what it costs. No job is too big or too small, we do it all.
